Linking Cultures of Frisco is a Frisco, TX based non-profit organization with the express focus of connecting the members of our community in an awareness and appreciation of our racial and ethnic backgrounds which make us unique and strong. 


The most notable annual event sponsored by Linking Cultures of Frisco is the annual Dr. MLK celebration and scholarship contest.  This event celebrates Dr King’s Dream of unity across the races and ethnicities as well as empowering our youth to live out the tenants of his dream.


Linking Cultures of Frisco Scholarship Virtual Gala 2021

 Livestreaming from Verona Villa on Monday, January 18th at 7PM


The live-stream will showcase the students’ performing their orations in front of the judges.  In addition to judges and students, we will have a couple of performances and an essential tech crew at the venue.  We anticipate less than 20 people in total spread out at the Verona Villa; all will be socially distanced and wearing masks when not performing or presenting. 


Scholarship oration contest

The finale will entail 5 Frisco High School senior finalists competing in front of a panel of judges for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the following scholarship amounts on Monday, January 18th at 7PM. Contest will be livestreamed. 

1st Place - $3000

2nd Place- $2000

3rd Place- $1000
